Sara Wagner, O.D.
Originally from the west side of Cincinnati, Dr. Wagner attended Miami University in Oxford where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology. She then went on to study at The Ohio State University College of Optometry where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree. During optometry school she was active in the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, through which she served on two mission trips to Jamaica to provide eye care to underserved and rural populations.

After graduation Dr. Wagner decided to pursue additional training in pediatric eye care. She completed a pediatric optometry residency at Akron Children's Hospital where she gained experience with a variety of conditions including amblyopia, strabismus, and various pediatric ocular diseases. "I love having the opportunity to help people see better. Early childhood is such a critical time for vision development, and kids with vision problems often don't realize the way they see the world around them is abnormal. This makes early eye exams important, so that vision issues can be diagnosed and treated while the brain is developing, setting kids up for a lifetime of their best possible vision."

Dr. Wagner is certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and
the Ohio Optometric Association.
